In lesson 15 students share the results of their stormwater solution designs and optimizations. Students can present their work in a variety of ways such as posters, reports, worksheets, and/or demonstrations of their models in action.
Student Posters
Posters are a great way for students to share their proposed stormwater solution designs. These posters are intended to allow students to be able to share their ideas with peers, discuss what they have learned, state their design’s criteria for success, and acknowledge constraints of their solution. Many posters also include the C.E.R. (Claim, Evidence, and Reasoning) behind their designs.
Student Solution Summaries
Some teachers have created their own worksheets for students to summarize the results of their storm water solutions and optimizations.
Letter Writing
As an extension to their work, students can take on an action project such as writing letters to their local officials. In these letters students can describe the work they have been doing in class or suggestions for future stormwater solutions.
